Level 6 Certificate in Career Guidance Theory (CCGT)

Who is this qualification for...

This Certificate has been designed for those who have gained NVQ Level 4 Advice and Guidance or the LDSS Level 4 award before 2011 (NB Level 4 Diploma in Information and Advice is not eligible) and wish to upgrade their qualification to the level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development and to conditionally join the CDI Register of Career Development Professionals.

The Level 6 units specified to be undertaken are:

unit 6 - Use career and labour market information with clients.

Each unit requires a written assignment and the careers practitioner’s client career interactions are observed and assessed as part of the evidence for this qualification.

How is it delivered...

The RGG Associates Tutor/Assessors work online with groups of learners using Teams. An online programme of formal training sessions and tutorials through Teams are facilitated and coaching skills are used by our qualified tutor/assessors to develop the knowledge and understanding required to achieve the qualification.

Learners are observed working with a client and both written and verbal feedback provided to the learner by the assessor. All learners’ career guidance interventions are video, or audio recorded and assessed as evidence of competence.
