What Are Mandatory Units?

The 7 Mandatory units are specific assessed modules that form part of the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. If you have already completed the Level 6 Certificate in Careers (Units 17, 18 & 19) these count towards the full diploma as the optional units, reducing the volume of new study required. Training can be delivered in person at your premises or live online.

Who Is This Route For?

This progression pathway is designed for qualified Careers Leaders who want to extend their qualification to cover the full range of career guidance practice and deliver personal guidance. The Level 6 Diploma includes one-to-one career guidance interviewing skills that the Careers Leadership certificate does not cover. For practitioners who want to deliver individual guidance sessions alongside their strategic role, this is the route to take.

How Your Prior Qualifications Are Recognised

The OCR Level 6 Certificate in Career Leadership units can be used as the Level 6 Diploma optional units.
If you have completed these units with another provider, all we need is a copy of your Certificate to recognise this learning.
This conversation costs you nothing and can save you a significant amount of time and study.
