This qualification is suitable for practitioners who work directly with customers on a one to one basis helping them to make decisions about a course of action. The actions could be involving decisions on their housing options, health options, future training or general life skills.
This is an excellent qualification to investigate and review interviewing structures, use of questioning skills and action planning in the work place.
Learners can be seen individually or in small groups at their workplace. For individuals, coaching skills are used by qualified assessors to develop knowledge and understanding required when working directly with customers. For groups of learners, formal training sessions can be facilitated.
All learners will be observed in the workplace interviewing a customer and both written and verbal feedback are provided to the learner by the assessor.
